My Mom Shelly 1954-2013

 Earlier tonight my mom passed away as a result of liver disease. She is the strongest and most amazing person I know and I owe everything I am to her. There are no words for how much I love her and how much I will miss her every day until it is time for me to be with her again. She lives on in my heart, and the hearts of everyone who knows and loves her. Thank you to all of my friends and family for your support, and thank you to my sister Anna for coming out to be with us for my mom's final days. I know that my mom will be looking after me from wherever she is because her soul and spirit live on. We will be returning home to Colorado in the next couple days, and my mom's services will take place towards the end of the week. Although I am sure my mom would love flowers, I think she would also love if you could donate to your local animal shelter as she loved animals immensely and spent a number of years volunteering at a shelter. I will strive to contribute as much to the world as my mom did, though I don't know if I can ever live up to how great she is. I will love her forever and she will never be forgotten. I love you Mom.
